I started working on a commoner class, but I haven't finished it.  There is a single fundamental problem with the code that we need to work out, that I may have mentioned before.  A skill can only belong to one discipline, so there's no way to re-use skills for different classes (although you can re-use an entire discipline - the problem arises when we try to make a new base discipline with reused skills).

The kick skill, for example, is actually like 4 completely different skills that have been cut and pasted for each class that uses them.  That's not a very good way to do things, especially if we wanted to use like 10 or 20 or 30 skills from other classes.

So anyway I pondered how to fix that issue and never really came up with a solution that didn't involve more hours of work that I'm willing to put in at the moment.

Anyway the commoner class is totally going to rule when I finish it.

This Commoner class sounds like a lot of fun.  Is this still being worked on?
