Peel explained this on the other page, I'll past it here for reference. The only way you would be dead forever is if you are perma death.
DUEL TO THE DEATH
There will be an all out REAL DEATH duel, the winner (or rather, survivor) of which will receive free entry into the poker tournament. The duel will be a straight up brawl in an arena, all potions, weapons, spells and so on allowed, and everyone will fight at the same time.
You are allowed to work together if you choose, but only one person will be leaving the arena alive - and that person will be entered into the poker tournament.
Post in this thread if you would like to enter the duel to the death. The time of the duel will be arranged with the entrants at a later date.
Please note, again, that this is a REAL DEATH duel, which means exp loss, equipment damage and all of that fun stuff.
