So I switched my OS from Windows to Ubuntu, and have no idea essentially what I'm doing, nor do I plan on going back to Windows.  Does anyone know of any good MUD clients that are compatible in Ubuntu? (Preferably something where I can stack commands, like ww, for 2 west, etc.) And also preferably show how to install said files, etc, cause like I mentioned prior, no idea what the heck I'm doing. Kthx

yeah tintin++ is what I've used on linux/mac osx but I'll admit I didn't do a whole lot of customization.

Peel's client is a good start of a client, but it is too immature at the moment (feature-wise, not quality-wise) and he appears to have lost interest. (to be fair, I believe Peel has actively sought someone to pick up the torch)

I have been using GGMud and I'm fairly pleased with it. It seems to be tt++ in a gtk window. It runs in linux, MacOSX and Windows... so it's cross platform.

It has one idiosyncrasy I'd like to see if I can get adjusted, it only accepts the four cardinal directions on the number pad for movement. This would be a good litmus test to see how active and receptive the coder is.

Yeah I don't really mud so it's not very exciting for me to work on a client. My goal there was to get something functional working quickly so other people could take it over. Success on the former, failure on the latter.
